Shopping from our Amazon Wish List is one of the easiest ways to support families. Each item on the list reflects the real-time needs of children, parents, and the facilities at FMF, ensuring your gift is both timely and impactful. Simply choose an item and Amazon will ship it directly to our shelter—no extra steps required.

Gift Card Donations & Registry

Gift cards offer families both dignity and choice—allowing parents to pick out the groceries, clothing, or essentials that best meet their children’s needs. Grocery, gas, and big-box retailer gift cards are especially helpful as families work toward independence. You can drop gift cards off at our office or use the registry to have them sent directly to FMF.

Mail-In Donations

Prefer to give by mail? We love opening envelopes! Your mailed contribution helps sustain our year-round shelter and support services for families working toward stable, permanent housing. Every gift, no matter how it’s sent, directly supports families on their path to stability.

Workplace Giving & Corporate Matching

Workplace giving is a simple and powerful way to support families throughout the year. Many employers offer payroll deduction programs or match charitable gifts—doubling or even tripling the impact of your donation. If you work for the City of Durham or the State of North Carolina, you can also contribute to Families Moving Forward through your workplace giving campaigns.
