The Re-Housing Coordinator (Case Manager)

The re-housing coordinator (case manager) is responsible for providing comprehensive case management and re-housing and housing search support to individuals experiencing homelessness residing in Families Moving Forward’s shelter. This role focuses on developing and implementing individualized re-housing and housing search plans, referring eligible FMF guests to housing programs, and addressing barriers to re- housing and housing search. Additionally, the Re-Housing Coordinator is responsible for supporting families during their shelter stay and their transition into permanent housing.

Workforce Development Coordinator (Case Manager)

The Workforce Development Coordinator (Case Manager) is responsible for providing comprehensive case management and employment support services to individuals experiencing homelessness residing in Families Moving Forward’s (FMF) shelter and families in FMF’s aftercare program. This role focuses on developing and implementing individualized employment plans, connecting FMF guests to job training, placement, and retention opportunities, and addressing barriers to employment. Additionally, WDC is responsible for supporting families during their shelter stay and their transition into permanent housing.

Team Associate

Team Associates (TA) are a vital part of the Families Moving Forward organization.  TAs are responsible for assisting with the overall functioning of the emergency shelter, including maintaining a peaceful, safe, supportive, and orderly environment. The position serves families with dependent children (up to 20 households) and includes basic orientation (services, rules, & policies), assistance with basic immediate needs, de-escalating conflict, and being a stable, welcoming presence.

This is a part-time position requiring early morning, weeknight evening, and/or weekend availability.
