It all started when…

Back in 2020, John Bowman dared his friends that he could row a 10k and decided to make it into a fundraiser for Families Moving Forward. In 2021, John challenged several of his friends to also row and turned his side porch into a rowing machine studio so all 5 guys could row 25k together. In solidarity, they all kept rowing until the final person finished! Collectively, they raised over $26,000 in 2 years and rowed over 40k.

Jump forward to April 13th, 2022. John and his friends will row another 5k for FMF! With some new faces (and gender - yay women!), JB’s team has set a new fundraising goal of $10,000 and hope that you can help them reach their goal.
