Community Conversations Invite
The Museum of Life and Science, Families Moving Forward, and Durham’s NIS Equitable Community Engagement group would like to invite you to a limited series of community conversations about affordable housing. These are taking place in-person in Durham on October 13th, October 22nd, and November 3rd, and we are seeking to involve Durham residents to share their perspectives.
This initial set of conversations, put together by this National Science Foundation-funded partnership, will seek to convene three conversations to discuss, share perspectives, and deliberate issues about affordable housing. These conversations will help to shape future education and engagement materials for this partnership.
We are asking people to apply, and are asking demographic-related questions in an attempt to convene as demographically-representative an audience as we can for these initial cohorts. We will compensate participants with a $50 VISA gift card for participating in a 2-hour conversation.
The link to apply is here, and there is a promotional flyer for this event attached here.
We are happy to answer any questions that you might have about this, you may send all inquiries to Max.Cawley@LifeandScience.org
