CFC with Vimala Rajendran is July 11th You guys, you do not want to miss Vimala's CFC dinner on 7/11! Vimala is serving up some of her best recipes and hidden gems for her menu. It’s fresh, it’s tangy, it’s vegan/vegetarian friendly, and Vimala’s special CFC menu is her spin on NC fare. Yummmm! Additionally, we are so excited to share that Vimala Rajendran of Vimala's Curryblossom Café has won two INDY Week’s “Best of” Awards in 2022. Vimala is no stranger to these types of awards, but we want you to know about them!

Just a reminder that we have moved venues and that all of the dinners in the 2022 series will be at the Cookery. We are excited to be in this bigger and more open space with more outdoor seating.
In an effort to maintain safety, we are still asking for attendees to bring proof of their vaccination status and to wear masks when not actively eating/drinking. If you have tickets to next Monday's dinner, be on the lookout from Shana via Eventbrite with logistics. |
Residential Kitchens are Open!
After 2 very long years since the start of the pandemic, we are finally reopening our residential kitchen to the families at FMF. While previously completely closed and then open by appointment to families who had been vaccinated, having regulars kitchen hours is a huge step for the staff and guests at FMF.
Thanks to our incredible partnership with A Lotta Love, the main residential kitchen on the second floor got a much needed refresher. On June 17th, we hosted a "grand re-opening" reception for the families to enjoy this new beautiful space! |
Donations Needed
Help! FMF is in need of cleaning supplies for our guests. When a family first moves into the NEST emergency shelter, we provide them with NEW basic essentials such as bedding, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and towels. Please consider donating what you can so our families can have a welcoming new start. If you have items to donate and want to schedule a drop off, or want to set up a donation drive at your local office, church, gathering place, etc, please contact anna@fmfnc.org for more information. |

Now groups can host a birthday party to celebrate guests who’s birthday is that month. Groups can also host a family fun night such as showing a movie, grilling dinner, or facilitating another activity. For more information, email Anna Krecklow at anna@fmfnc.org. |
